In the presence of the Representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai, the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine inaugurated an integrated medical rehabilitation center at Sibtain International University for Medical Sciences, in a step aimed at boosting medical rehabilitation services and supporting the treatment pathway for patients.

Speaking to the Official Website, the President of the University, Dr. Rahim Mahdi Rahim, stated that "the center represents a qualitative addition to the university's system of medical and educational services, given the modern capabilities and technologies it contains in the fields of medical rehabilitation."

He explained that "the center includes the latest specialized technologies and equipment in physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, contributing to the provision of specialized rehabilitation services to patients according to modern scientific methods."

He added that "the center also contributes to improving clinical training for students in relevant medical specialties at the university, by providing a practical training environment that allows students to enhance their applied skills and bridge the gap between academic education and clinical practice."

The opening of the center comes as part of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine's efforts to develop health and educational institutions, as well as to provide an integrated environment combining specialized medical rehabilitation, clinical training, and support for patient recovery.
