Under the directives of the Representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, Sheikh Abdul-Mahdi Al-Karbalai, and the Secretary-General of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, Mr. Hassan Rashid Jawad Al-Abayachi, the department's technical and engineering staff carried out a series of service and enhancement projects at the kindergarten.

According to a statement from the Maintenance Department obtained by the official website, "The completed works included laying 400 square meters of interlocking paving stones and 250 square meters of tartan flooring, in addition to installing shock-absorbent padding for child safety, fitting plastic glass, and performing painting and maintenance across several facility areas."

The department added that "these efforts fall within the framework of service initiatives undertaken by the General Secretariat of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine across various schools, institutions, and government departments in Holy Karbala, with the goal of fostering a safe, suitable environment for children and enhancing the educational landscape."

It further explained that "the initiative also serves to strengthen cooperation and coordination with governmental bodies, particularly those involved in the education sector, thereby supporting the learning process and providing an appropriate educational setting for students."
