Al-Ameed University: The Nursing College is the first private Iraqi college to receive full program accreditation

Al-Ameed University confirmed that its College of Nursing is the first private college in Iraq to obtain full program accreditation, a step that reflects its commitment to applying academic quality standards in nursing education.

The Dean of the college, Dr. Diaa Karim, said: "Obtaining program accreditation came as a result of the college's application of accreditation and quality standards in all aspects of the educational institution and its ability to manage the education and examination process through its vision, mission, and goals."

He added that "the college aims to prepare university nurses capable of meeting the needs of society and continuing their academic journey within and outside Iraq at the postgraduate level to become distinguished researchers."

He explained that "Al-Ameed University seeks to meet the needs of students during their studies and after graduation by providing an exceptional educational environment and comprehensive student support for social and psychological aspects for a period of four years," pointing out that "it continues to support them after graduation by signing agreements with prestigious institutions, including Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital, to test the top ten graduates of the university, train them, and appoint them in all departments of the hospital, both internal and surgical."

This achievement is the result of the continuous efforts made by the university presidency, the college deanship, and its teaching and administrative staff, in developing the educational process and elevating the academic level of the students.
