Al-Kafeel Apiaries continue to supply local markets with the finest types of natural honey.
The Kafeel apiaries, affiliated with the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, continue their production of natural honey as part of their projects aimed at supporting local products and supplying the Iraqi markets with high-quality goods.
The assistant manager of the beekeeping department, Engineer Suhail Najm Abd, said: "The primary purpose of establishing beekeeping is to benefit from the vital role of bees in pollinating flowers, in addition to producing honey, pollen, propolis, bee venom, and hive air."
He added that the apiaries produce various types of honey, the most notable being Sidr honey, Eucalyptus honey, Citrus honey, Clover honey, Cactus honey, and Mountain honey, relying on diverse natural sources to achieve high purity for the product.
Abd explained that the honey from the Kafeel apiaries undergoes laboratory testing, is produced naturally, and is free from any artificial additives. He confirmed that the apiaries operate according to future plans aimed at gradually increasing production to meet the needs of the local market.
