The University Psychological Counseling Department at Al-Kafeel University held a mourning gathering to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her).

The gathering commenced with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a lecture delivered by Sheikh Dr. Ibrahim Alwan al-Nasrawi. He highlighted the biography of Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her), her esteemed status in Islam, and the exemplary model she embodied regarding knowledge, worship, and steadfastness in principles and values.

The speaker discussed Lady az-Zahra’s (peace be upon her) lofty standing and her role in preserving Islamic values ​​and principles. He also addressed the intellectual, spiritual, and social dimensions of her character, noting the model she provided for Muslim women in shouldering responsibility and serving both faith and society.

Furthermore, the speaker touched upon her scholarship, eloquence, and the stances she took following the martyrdom of the Messenger of Allah (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household). He reviewed aspects of her sermon—highlighting its religious and rhetorical significance—and emphasized the importance of drawing inspiration from her life to instill values ​​such as faith, patience, altruism, and the defense of principles.

The gathering concluded with the recitation of elegies, a remembrance of the tragedy that befell Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her), and a renewal of sentiments of grief and sorrow on this mournful occasion.
