Delegations participating in the 11th "Al-Kafeel Girls" graduation ceremony express their gratitude for the efforts of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine
The delegations participating in the 11th central graduation ceremony for female university students from Iraq and several other Islamic nations—a cohort known as "Al-Kafeel Girls" —expressed their deep gratitude for the efforts of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, as well as for the warm welcome and generous hospitality they received.
This sentiment was conveyed by Ms. Jumana Yasser, speaking on behalf of the delegations during the ceremony. The event was organized by the al-Kafeel Religious Schools for Women—a division under the Office of the Senior Official for Women’s Affairs at the Holy Shrine—under the theme, "From the Light of Fatima (peace be upon her), We Illuminate the World." The ceremony saw the participation of 6,450 female students from 14 Iraqi provinces and 7 Arab and Islamic countries.
"It is an honor for us to stand before you tonight, representing the delegations participating in this blessed ceremony—an event graced by the benevolence of the masters of the universe and the care of al-Kafeel (peace be upon him and them)," said Yasser. "In this gathering, we are united by values that transcend all academic degrees and specializations; tonight, we stand as part of a narrative that stretches from the shores of the Gulf to the land of the Two Rivers." "Our journey concludes here, on the soil of Iraq, between the two holy shrines—a place where the fragrance of history converges with the grandeur of the message brought by the prophets and their successors. We have arrived from diverse homelands; though our origins may differ, we carry greetings that are united in their sincerity, even as they are expressed through a rich tapestry of varied dialects and cultural hues. We have come to rest here among you, in the Land of the Two Rivers—the very cradle that nurtured the dawn of civilization and witnessed the birth of writing, science, and knowledge. In this setting, the message resonates with profound clarity, piercing through every veil. The voices of Imam al-Hussayn and Aba al-Fadl (peace be upon them) echo within us, reminding us that the knowledge we possess today is a sacred trust—a trust that must be translated into tangible action. It must serve to further the mission of the prophets and their successors, guiding humanity toward the righteous path, so that nations may be built and life may flourish. Thus, we prepare ourselves to inherit the earth and fulfill the promise of God Almighty."
She further explained, "God Almighty has instilled within human nature a deep passion for knowledge—an unceasing inquiry and an inexhaustible drive toward discovery, contemplation, and understanding. As the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) said: 'May God have mercy on the person who knows whence they came, where they are, and whither they are headed.' These are not merely fleeting questions; rather, they are the foundation for self-awareness, the realization of one’s purpose, and the determination of one’s direction. Whoever understands their origin, recognizes their current standing, and gains insight into their ultimate destination, grasps the very philosophy of their existence—realizing that life is a journey of learning, striving, and giving—a journey that demands constant, unremitting effort." She continued, "Thus, promising graduates, you should realize that your graduation today is not the end of your pursuit of knowledge, but rather the beginning of a new phase defined by responsibility and contribution."
The representative of the delegations concluded her address by expressing the deepest gratitude and appreciation to the Master (peace be upon him), as well as to the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine—including all its staff, personnel, and the organizers of this event—who spared no effort to ensure the success of this ceremony, down to the very last detail.
