Department of Rituals: 37,000 registered Hussaini processions from inside and outside Iraq

The Department of Rituals, Processions, and Hussaini Bodies at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine confirmed that 37,000 Hussaini processions are registered in the department from within and outside Iraq.

The assistant head of the department, Mr. Qasim Muhammad Al-Tarfi, said: "The number of registered processions in the department has reached 37,000, including newly documented processions and others whose identity cards have expired." He indicated that the registration and documentation division of the department has begun receiving applications for the registration and renewal of their identity cards from the representatives and units spread throughout Iraq, as well as the Hussaini processions in the Islamic world.

He added that the procedures include mourning processions and service processions, and the department is working on completing registration and documentation transactions and issuing new IDs, which contributes to facilitating the work of the processions and managing their affairs.
