The Vehicles Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine allocates 20 vehicles to transport patients from various areas of the old city of Karbala to medical centers and hospitals.

The head of the emergency unit in the department, Mr. Mohannad Abdul Hussein Khudair, said that "the dedicated vehicles for the service include large vehicles and other cargo vehicles," explaining that "the unit is responsible for transporting medical cases from the old city areas to the surrounding medical centers and to hospitals when needed."

He added that "the allocation of these mechanisms aims to ensure a quick response to medical cases that require immediate intervention."

Khudair explained that "the first aid unit is one of the important units in the system of services provided to visitors, due to its humanitarian role in ensuring the transport of patients and delivering them to the specialized medical authorities," confirming its continuous operation around the clock.

The allocation of vehicles is part of the support services provided by the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine to its visitors, aimed at enhancing the response speed to emergencies and providing service and humanitarian support during Ziyarat times.
