The Secretary-General of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, Mr. Hassan Rashid Jawad Al-Abayji, affirmed that establishing schools represents a fundamental pillar in human development and societal advancement, given the role educational institutions play in consolidating moral and religious values, cultivating scientific skills, and preparing generations capable of contributing to the renaissance of society.

Mr. Al-Abayji made these remarks during the inauguration ceremony of the Shajarat Tuba School for Girls in Karbala Governorate, held in the presence of the Head of Diwan al-Waqf al-Shi'i (Shiite Endowment Office).

The Secretary-General stated, "The school represents a platform for scientific and educational enlightenment, and the cornerstone in building societies and developing nations," noting that "the experiences of numerous countries have proven the importance of focusing on education and learning as two essential pillars for achieving progress and raising the standard of society."

He explained that "establishing schools is not limited to providing educational opportunities, but extends to building human beings on sound moral and educational foundations, and equipping them with skills and knowledge that contribute to preparing a conscious generation capable of serving its society."

He added that "preserving modesty and chastity among female students, and reinforcing religious and moral values, represent an essential aspect of the educational process, in alignment with Islamic teachings and the message of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), and contributing to preparing generations that adhere to their authentic principles and values."

The opening of the Shajarat Tuba School comes as part of ongoing efforts to support the educational sector, strengthen learning institutions, and provide a suitable environment that contributes to building generations scientifically and educationally, while entrenching the values that drive societal progress.
