Servants of the Two Holy Shrines commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Az-Zahra (peace be upon her) according to the first narration

The servants of the Holy Shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them) commemorated the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her)—according to the first historical account—by holding a unified mourning procession.

The procession was attended by the Deputy Secretary-General of the Al-Abbas (p) Holy Shrine, Mr. Mohammed Ali Azhar; Board of Directors member Dr. Afdal al-Shami; and the Director of the Office of the Senior Official, Sayed Jawad al-Hasnawi; alongside various department heads and officials.

The procession set out from the courtyard of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), passed through the area between the two holy shrines, and arrived at the shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) to offer condolences on this sorrowful occasion.

As they marched, the mourners chanted words embodying feelings of grief and sorrow, reflecting the profound impact of this tragedy on the hearts of the believers.

The procession concluded in the courtyard of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) with a mourning gathering attended by staff from both holy shrines and a crowd of visitors, featuring the recitation of poems and elegies commemorating this painful anniversary.
