The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine concludes the first day’s proceedings of the central graduation ceremony for female university students

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has concluded the first day of its central graduation ceremony for female students from Iraqi universities and various Islamic nations—the eleventh cohort, known as the "Al-Kafeel Girls" class. The event features graduates from 14 Iraqi provinces and 7 Arab and Islamic countries.

Organized by the Al-Kafeel Women’s Religious Schools Division—under the Office of the Senior Official for Women’s Affairs at the Holy Shrine—the ceremony is held under the theme, "From the Light of Fatima (peace be upon her), We Illuminate the World." It includes 6,450 female students from across Iraq and several Islamic nations.

The ceremony highlights the importance of balancing academic achievement with adherence to Islamic values, aiming to prepare graduates who possess the awareness and sense of responsibility necessary to contribute to the service of society.

The first day’s activities took place across three locations: the Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) Complex, the Sheikh al-Kulayni Complex, and the Al-Sidr Model Farm. The program featured a diverse array of Quranic, cultural, artistic, and educational segments, including recitations from the Holy Quran, welcoming addresses, poetry, theatrical performances addressing religious and social themes, as well as devotional chants and a graduation operetta.

The ceremony will continue tomorrow, Friday, with the participation of the 6,450 graduates, as part of the program designed to honor university graduates within the precincts of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine.
