The Media Department organizes a training workshop in photography for its staff
The Media Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine organized a specialized training workshop in the field of photography for the photographers of the Media Formations Division in the department, with the aim of developing their skills and enhancing the level of photographic coverage of events and activities.
The head of the department, Mr. Ali Al-Badri, said: "The department continues its developmental plan for all aspects of media work, and the establishment of these courses comes as a practical step within the department's strategic vision for continuous training and the development of field staff."
He added that investing in human resources and developing their visual tools represents the essential step to convey the media message of the holy shrine in the most beautiful and impactful way.
He explained that the camera is not just a tool for documenting events, but a means of conveying knowledge and esthetic messages with sincerity and depth. From this perspective, the department is keen on providing its media photographers with the latest methodologies and modern techniques in the world of photography, to ensure the delivery of high-quality visual content that reflects the significant development witnessed in the projects of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine.
Al-Badri pointed out that photography is the first window through which the public views the scale of achievement. Therefore, organizing these courses does not stop at the boundaries of traditional technical education, but aims to create a specialized photographic eye that understands how to capture the fine details of engineering, medical, and service projects, and translate them into high-value visual messages.
For his part, the workshop trainer, Mr. Haidar Al-Mankoushi, said, "The holy shrine continuously pays attention to developing the skills of its media staff. Based on this, the Media Department organized a specialized workshop for the photographers of the Media Formations Division, focusing on deep news coverage techniques."
He added that "the workshop included several advanced topics that contribute to developing the photographer's skills, enabling them to document events and activities using modern artistic methods, thereby enhancing the quality of the photographic material used in media coverage."
