The Medical Affairs Department continues to present its scientific lecture aimed at strengthening infection control measures

The Medical Affairs Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine continues to deliver scientific lectures as part of a training program focused on infection control, sterilization, and occupational safety procedures for its staff.

These lectures are presented in collaboration with the National Health Factory, which operates under the Department of Public Medical Clinics at the Ministry of Health.

Lecturer Dr. Osama Al-Jubouri stated, "The third lecture in the training program was delivered to the Medical Affairs Department staff, covering specialized topics regarding cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization processes for surfaces, medical instruments, and surgical tools."

He added, "The lecture focused on reinforcing infection control and occupational safety measures, as well as outlining the optimal use of disinfectants and sterilizing agents."

He noted that "the training program will continue next week with a fourth lecture addressing medical waste management, thereby completing the curriculum on infection control procedures and the proper use of disinfectants and sterilizing agents."

This program is part of the Medical Affairs Department's efforts to enhance the skills of healthcare staff and raise awareness regarding preventive measures, ultimately strengthening the implementation of infection control and occupational safety standards within the healthcare work environment.
