The second day of the closing ceremony for the activities and programs of the Al-Kafeel Scouts Association for the year 2026

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine launched the second day of the closing ceremony for the activities and programs of the Al-Kafeel Scouts Association for the year 2026.

The ceremony is organized by the Al-Kafeel Scouts Association—affiliated with the Holy Shrine's Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs—with the participation of over 1,000 scouts from the governorates of Karbala and Basra, under the slogan "Generations Following in the Footsteps of the Prophets."

The events were attended by the Department Head, Mr. Aqeel Al-Yasiri, and several Holy Shrine officials, alongside the representative of the Arab Scout Organization, Mr. Abdul Karim Hanoun, specialized educators, international training leaders from the Iraqi Scout Association (Ministry of Education), and the participants' families.

The proceedings began with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by reciter Haider Jaloukhan, followed by the national anthem, the Holy Shrine’s anthem (*Nashid al-Iba’* / Anthem of Dignity), and the Iraqi flag-raising ceremony.

The second day's activities featured a variety of segments, including a scout parade, a performance of the Al-Kafeel Scouts anthem by Scout Leader Ahmed Shaker, and an honoring ceremony for the participating delegations.

This closing ceremony for the Al-Kafeel Scouts Association’s programs reflects the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine's commitment to youth potential. It underscores the Shrine's dedication to developing students' skills, enhancing their capabilities and talents, and instilling in them educational and ethical values—as well as a spirit of cooperation, teamwork, and a sense of belonging—thereby helping to prepare a conscious generation capable of assuming responsibility and serving society through diverse scouting and educational programs.
