The second day of the eighth Furqan Quranic Competition

The Women's Quranic Institute, affiliated with the Office of the Senior Official for Women's Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, launched the second day of the eighth preliminary Furqan Quranic competition.

The events held at the institute's headquarters in Najaf Ashraf began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the memorizer Fatima Mohsen, one of the institute's students, followed by a chant presented by the Naba' Al-Joud troupe, after which the competition continued.

The second day's events witnessed the participation of more than 50 female memorizers from the Quran Institute, in the category of memorizing fifteen parts of the Quran, as the participants compete in memorization tests before the specialized judging panel.

The events continue among the female memorizers to qualify for the national competition, which brings together the qualifiers from various Iraqi provinces in the approved memorization categories.
