The Service Affairs Department offers various services to meet the needs of visitors

The Service Affairs Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine continues to provide round-the-clock services to visitors through various channels. These include safeguarding personal belongings, providing carts for individuals with special needs and children, and maintaining the cleanliness of the area surrounding the Holy Shrine.

Mr. Kadhim Jawad Kadhim, Head of the Department's Safekeeping Unit, stated that the unit operates 24 hours a day through three sections: the reception and return of visitors' bags, the safekeeping lockers, and the provision of carts for individuals with special needs and children.

He added that the cart unit provides 300 carts distributed across the main entrances of the Holy Shrine, while the locker unit comprises approximately 100 cabinets containing nearly 3,000 compartments for storing visitors' belongings during their time at the Holy Shrine.

Concurrently, the department carries out field cleaning operations on the roads, squares, and sites surrounding the Holy Shrine. This involves collecting and transporting waste using specialized machinery, with staff and equipment deployed across various locations to ensure continuous operations and maintain the area's overall appearance.

These efforts are part of an ongoing service program aimed at providing a clean and organized environment, meeting visitors' needs, and ensuring a suitable atmosphere throughout their Ziyarat.
