The Service Affairs Department provides carts to assist elderly visitors and those with special needs

The Service Affairs Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine provides transport carts for visitors with special needs, the elderly, and children. These carts are stationed at various access points in the vicinity of the Holy Shrine.

This service is managed by the staff of the department’s "Cart Distribution and Collection Unit" through several locations across the Old City. These include the Bab al-Qibla street—leading to the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him)—as well as Al-Alqami Street and Al-Hawra Zaynab Street. Additionally, carts are available near the gates named after Imam Musa al-Kadhem and Imam Ali al-Hadi (peace be upon them).

The department has allocated a number of carts at these locations to facilitate the movement of visitors with special needs, the elderly, and children, thereby easing their mobility while they perform their Ziyarat.
