The Supreme Religious Authority, Sayed Ali al-Sistani, offers condolences on the passing of Sayed al-Shubairi al-Zanjani

The Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Sayed Ali al-Husseini al-Sistani, has offered condolences on the passing of the eminent religious authority; Sayed Musa al-Shubayri al-Zanjani.

The text of the statement is as follows:

In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

"Indeed, we belong to God, and indeed, to Him we shall return."

The passing of the eminent religious authority and Faqeeh of the School of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them)—Sayed Musa al-Shubayri al-Zanjani —is a painful tragedy and a profound loss.

The late scholar—who dedicated his entire blessed life to research and teaching—was among the most distinguished scholars and a pillar of the blessed Hawza of Qom, embodying the true essence of a Great scholar.

His valuable scholarly works and religious services will remain a precious legacy, just as his conduct and practical approach will forever serve as an enduring model for scholars.

May Allah exalt his noble station and gather him with his pure and virtuous forefathers.

With deep sorrow and regret, I offer my condolences for this great loss to the holy presence of the Master of the Time (may our souls be sacrificed for him), to the religious Hawzas, to the respected family of the late scholar—especially his dear and honorable sons—and to the believers at large. I pray to God Almighty to grant everyone beautiful patience and abundant reward.

There is no power nor strength except in God, the Most High, the Almighty.
