What is the ruling of one who has not paid the ransom (Fidia) for the past years? Should we pay extra amounts or the same as we desired to pay? What is the ratio of the ransom (Fidia) per day in Britain? Is it 3 pounds?

In the name of Allah, the ransom (Fidia) amount or quantity does not increase by the delay. It is determined according to the quantity of rice, dates, raisin or flour, which is ¾ kilo per day and preferably 1 kilo. The quantity is not determined by the amount. Allah knows best.
