A woman does not face any health problems while performing the fast during the month of Ramadan and she completes the fast smoothly. However, in a month other than Ramadan, whenever she tries to make up the fast that she missed due to menstruation, her health always deteriorates and she is not able to make up those days. What is the ruling here?
Answer
In the name of Allah, sharia rulings must be adhered to, and fasting is not valid during menstruation and cannot be prescribed. If she finishes fasting the month of Ramadan, she must make up the missed days even if she forces herself to do so, Furthermore, she must remember her standing before Allah, Glory be to Him, on the Day of Judgment, so that her fasting hardship is made easier for her.
