What should a person with gas incontinence do when he cannot control himself in order to perform ablution, which means that the disease always attacks him at the time of ablution so that his ablution will cease before he completes it, knowing that the person used to repeat the ablution ten times or more for each prayer, which has caused him mental disturbance?
Answer
In the name of Allah, a person who is unable to preserve purity from the gassing from the beginning of ablution to the end of the prayer with only obligatory deeds is called by the religious scholars as constant impurity maker (da'im alhadath) , and he is entitled to perform ablution once for prayer unless it occurs with another event such as sleeping. If there is gassing as in the question, it is only one ablution for the prayer that he prays. May Allah heal him and us. Allah knows best.
