Is it permissible to play electronic games on phone without money just for consuming time?

In the name of Allah, if the winning in one of those games is with cleverness and the winner’s intellectual, motor and muscular strength, it is permissible for him to play that game even if there is a financial prize for the players. However, if the wining depends on luck, then it is considered gambling and therefore it is not permissible, even if it is for free or by allocating money. Allah knows best.
