Some nights of the month, intercourse is disliked. What about during the day? It is recommended to have intercourse on Thursday at noon. Does this mean at the beginning of the prayer time, and should intercourse precede the prayer, or is there a specific period? It is recommended to have intercourse on Friday after Asr. Does this mean immediately after the prayer, or is there a specific period? If a person prays at home and the prayer is as usual, meaning they do not prolong it as in the Friday prayer?
Answer
In the name of Allah, the intended meaning of these narrations is the specified time, unrelated to prayer times. It is known that prayer takes precedence over everything else. So, the intended time of "noon" is when the sun moves away from the meridian toward the west. The intended time of Asr (afternoon) is the last quarter of the day. Allah knows best.
