What is the ruling on certain medications that contain a very small amount of alcohol, specifically ethanol, which is used as a stabilizing agent?

In the name of Allah, if the treatment is limited to this specific medication, then it is permissible to use it to the extent of necessity. But if there are alternatives, it is not permissible. Allah knows best.
