Najafi Q&A: Menstruation

After my wife’s menstrual cycle, which occurs at the beginning of each month and lasts seven days, can she start praying on the eighth day, or must she wait until the tenth day, given that no blood remains after the seven days?

Is it permissible for us to eat from food offered as a vow (nadhar) during the menstrual period?

If the menstrual blood stops and is less than three days due to an external factor, such as taking pills, while all other conditions are met, is it considered menstruation or not?

In the name of Allah, be informed my son that washing means moving the water on the area to be washed. If the water is poured on the middle of the face and then the hand is raised higher than the area on which the water is poured then it is lowered, the process of washing the face from the hairline is not accomplished. The order of washing is from top to bottom; the top of the face must be washed before washing the bottom. If a person has a forehead equal in height in regards to the hairline such that the hairline from the right side is not higher than that of the middle or the left side, then in such a case, the person is free to start washing from any point of the hairline whether the right side, left or middle. If the middle of the forehead is higher, as in most people, then the middle of the forehead must be washed first, which is higher than other sides. Allah knows best.

During menstruation, are the clothes worn by a woman religiously impure or not? If not, can it be worn again without washing and religiously purified?
