For a woman with a regular or temporary menstrual cycle who observes bleeding during her usual days, then the blood stops for one day and returns, stopping on the tenth day or earlier, what is the ruling on the blood that occurs outside her usual period?
Answer
In the name of Allah, if the total number of days of both bleeding periods does not exceed ten, all of it is considered menstruation. If it exceeds ten days in total, then the first portion of blood is considered menstruation as long as it is not less than three days. Allah knows best.
