Is it necessary to inquire about the meat in the market of Muslims? What is the principle of the Muslim market according to your view?
Answer
In the name of Allah, be advised, my son, that in my view, the market of Muslims is evidence of the permissibility of the meat displayed in it, provided that the majority of the people in the market outwardly adhere to the religion, such as in the market of Najaf Al-Ashraf and similar places. It is also evidence of the purity of the skins of animals that are permissible to eat, and likewise for anything that requires proper slaughtering, purity, and ownership. This ruling does not apply if you come to know that a person is not religiously observant. Allah knows best.
