It is known that the angels do not disobey whatever Allah ordered them to do and do what they are commanded. Is the story of the angel Peter (Fitrus) correct that he disobeyed Allah and asked His forgiveness using Imam Hussein’s (PBUH)?
Answer
In the name of Allah, this was as a reason of leaving the recommended which is considered for the faithful of the worshipers of Allah as disobedience and because it does not suit them and it is like sins. This is similar to the case of the Prophet of Allah Yunus (Jonah) (PBUH) when he entered the belly of the whale. It was not by the willing of the whale, but the whale was commanded by Allah and there was no sin from Prophet (PBUH). Allah knows best.
