Is it permissible for someone in a state of minor ritual impurity (hadath) to touch a translation of the Quran?
Answer
In the name of Allah, be advised, my son, that a translation of the Quran is not considered the Quran, and likewise, the interpretation of the Quran is not the Quran. If the translation and interpretation do not contain the names of Allah or the names of the infallibles (PBUT), it is permissible to touch them without ablution (wudu). Allah knows best.
