Since Asya daughter of Muzahim is a righteous woman, why did she marry a man like Pharaoh? Was it not possible for her to separate from him after she knew that he claims to be a god? And as a Muslim, how is it permissible for her to marry an infidel?
Answer
In the name of Allah, she got married before the advent of Moses (PBUH) to guide Pharaoh and before her conversion to Islam and after entering into the marriage of the tyrant, she could not get away from Pharaoh because he was a ruthless tyrant. Therefore, she resorted to Allah by saying "My Lord, build for me near You a house in Paradise and save me from Pharaoh and his deeds and save me from the wrongdoing people." Therefore, Allah drowned him and saved her and other righteous people from his evil. Allah knows best.
