What is the ruling on summoning spirits and sending them to fulfill certain needs?

In the name of Allah, if summoning and sending the spirit means forcing the spirit to deliver a message or bring information from the realm of Barzakh and beyond by coercing and compelling it to obey the user, this is not permissible with the spirit of a believer but is permissible with the spirit of a non-believer. However, if the spirit has the choice to be present or not, then there is no issue, whether or not the spirit is of a believer. Allah knows best.
