Is it permissible for a fasting person to rinse his mouth?

In the name of Allah, rinse the mouth for the purpose of performing ablution (wudhu) is not only permissible but recommended. However, if it's used for reasons other than ablution, it is disliked. In any case, one should be cautious and avoid swallowing any of the mouthwash. Allah knows best.
