In the name of Allah, be advised, my son, that taqyia is to protect yourself from the evil of your enemy. This is the core meaning of taqyia. The applications of taqyia are different; for example, if you pray in the way of lowered hands where your enemies do not tolerate your prayer, you may leave that place and pray in another, if you can. If you cannot do that, you may pray in a way with which you can protect yourself. Allah knows best.
