What is the ruling of consolation with the hitting of the chest and the crying for the tragedies other than of the master of martyrs (PBUH)?
Answer
In the name of Allah, it is a good act and required if you mean other Imams and Lady Zahraa (PBUH). It is a recommended deed. The imams focused on the calamities of their grandfather Hussein (PBUH) but their interest in the disaster of Hussein (PBUH) was more than any calamity. All Shiite should do that as well. Allah knows best.
