A person came into possession of money before the months of Hajj, such as acquiring it in the month of Sha'ban. Is it permissible to use this money freely, such as traveling with it without necessity, or must the person preserve it to perform the obligatory Hajj? Is it permissible to spend it on necessities like medical treatment?
Answer
In the name of Allah, if the money is spent on something obligatory, like medical treatment, there is no issue. However, spending it on anything that is not obligatory is not permissible, and the money should be preserved for Hajj. Allah knows best.
